Reverse description Central field features an ornate cross with decorative foliate or fleur-de-lis terminals at each arm, dividing the field into four quadrants, each adorned with a small rosette or pellet ornament. The cross is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. A circular Latin legend in Gothic uncial letterforms surrounds the design, reading SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTUM — a devotional phrase meaning 'Blessed be the name of the Lord' — common on ecclesiastically inspired late medieval German coinage. The overall style reflects the refined but irregular character of hammered silver schillings of the Württemberg counts.
