Reverse description A pointed Gothic shield occupies the central field, charged with a crossed sword and key — the heraldic arms of the Bishopric of Dorpat — rendered in angular, hammered relief. The shield is set within a plain inner circle, around which a circular Latin legend is distributed in Gothic lettering. The design adheres closely to the standard typology of Livonian ecclesiastical schillings of the period.
