| 背面描述 | A large cross pattée occupying the full field, dividing the legend into four segments arranged in the quarters between the arms of the cross. The cross is bold and deeply struck in the hammered tradition, with splayed terminals characteristic of the Livonian Order's heraldic style. A beaded inner circle circumscribes the cross, and the abbreviated legend reading MAGISTRI LIVONIAE is distributed around the circumference between the inner border and the coin's irregular edge. |

Hermann von Brüggeneye served as Master of the Livonian Order from 1535 until his death in 1549, governing a branch increasingly isolated from its parent Teutonic Order and under mounting pressure from both the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Archbishopric of Riga. This schilling was struck at Reval — modern Tallinn — during the first two years of his mastership, a mint that had operated under Order authority since the thirteenth century. The billon content reflects the broader degradation of Baltic coinage in this period, as the Order's finances were strained well before the catastrophic Livonian War of 1558 finally dismantled its political structure entirely.
