Obverse description Central shield bearing three pellets or orbs arranged in triangular formation, the heraldic device of the Livonian Order Master, set within a beaded inner circle. The shield is rendered in a simple Gothic style characteristic of late medieval Baltic coinage. A circular legend in uncial Latin script surrounds the central device, reading MAGISTRI · LIVONIE ·, identifying the issuing authority as the Master of Livonia. The overall die work is typical of hammered billon schillings of the period, with irregular flan edges.
