| Description du revers | The quartered coat-of-arms of Bogislaw X, Duke of Pomerania, displayed on a shield at centre, with the Pomeranian griffin and the eagle of Rügen among the quarterings. The shield is superimposed upon a long cross pattée whose arms extend to the beaded inner circle, dividing the field into four sections. Crowned ornaments appear at the ends of the cross arms, with a Gothic legend in uncial lettering encircling the design along the outer rim. The die work is characteristic of the late 15th-century Garz mint, with bold if somewhat crude execution typical of hammered silver schillings of this duchy. |
