Reverse description Enthroned frontal figure of Saint Henry II, Holy Roman Emperor and patron saint of Bamberg, vested in episcopal robes and wearing a mitre; he holds a crozier in his left hand and a model of Bamberg Cathedral in his right. The figure is rendered in the late Gothic style characteristic of mid-15th century Franconian coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the central type, and a circular Latin legend with cross and star stops surrounds the entire composition within the outer rim.
