Reverse description Full-length standing figure of Saint Kilian, patron saint of Würzburg, vested in episcopal robes with mitre and holding a bishop's crozier, facing front. The date is divided on either side of the saint's figure in the field. The Latin legend KILLIANS SANCTUS runs around the periphery, identifying the saint. The composition is rendered in the baroque style characteristic of Franconian ecclesiastical coinage of the period.
