The circumferential inscription in Gothic uncial lettering reads F○F○S○DEI○GRACIA○TVRING○LANG, recording the abbreviated titles of the three co-ruling margraves Frederick II, Frederick IV, and Sigismund. The overall design is characteristic of the late medieval Meissen-type Schildgroschen tradition. |
