| Opschrift voorzijde | +MAXIMILIAИVS ✿ DEI ✿ GRA ✿ ROMANOR ✿ REX ✿ SEMPER ✿ AVGVSTVS ✿ (Translation: Maximilian by the grace of God King of the Romans, forever Emperor) |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | Five heraldic shields arranged in a cruciform composition dominate the field: the central and largest shield displays the imperial double-headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire surmounted by an elaborate plumed helmet and crown; flanking it are four subsidiary shields bearing the arms of Hungary (barry of eight), Austria (fess gules on argent), Burgundy (diagonal stripes), and Tyrol (eagle). The date 1·5·0·5 is incorporated within the arrangement of the shields. The entire composition is enclosed within a double-beaded border, with the extended Latin titulature legend running continuously around the circumference of the coin. |
