| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central round hole encircled by an elaborate Chakra (Dharma wheel) design featuring eight swirling blades rendered in intricate low relief, evoking traditional Thai decorative art. The blades radiate outward in a flowing, dynamic pattern that fills the entire field to the milled border. The Buddhist Era date '๒๔๘๒' (BE 2482, corresponding to 1939 CE) is inscribed in Thai numerals within the inner annulus surrounding the central hole, preceded by the abbreviation 'พ.ศ.' (Phutthasakkarat). |

Produced during the minority of Ananda Mahidol, who ascended the throne at age nine following the abdication of Prajadhipok in 1935. The government was effectively administered by a council of regents while Ananda remained in Switzerland for his schooling. This coin circulated under that regency arrangement, with the young king's authority nominal at best — he would not return permanently to Thailand until 1945, the year before his death under deeply disputed circumstances in the Grand Palace.
