Obverse description Central round hole surrounded by an ornate unalom (sacred Thai Buddhist symbol) rendered in relief, forming the focal decorative element around the perforation. Thai script legend reading 'รัฐบาลไทย' (Government of Thailand) and '๑ สตางค์' (1 Satang) disposed in two arcing segments around the periphery of the field. The overall design is framed by a milled border, with the lettering and unalom motif executed in the traditional Thai artistic style characteristic of the Rama VIII era.
