Popis líce	The obverse bears three royal symbols of King Rama IV (King Mongkut) arranged in a traditional Thai heraldic composition: at the top, the Chakra (discus), emblem of the Chakri Dynasty; flanking the central field on the left and right, the Phra Tao (ceremonial water jars), personal symbols of Rama IV; and at the bottom, the Mongkut (royal crown), another personal device of Rama IV. The design is rendered in the hammered technique characteristic of traditional Thai coinage, giving the devices a bold, slightly irregular relief. The coin is an extremely rare trial strike, with only five examples recorded.
