| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays the cursive, butterfly-like kaō (personal cipher) of the senior mint official, executed in bold, fluid strokes across the central field. Surrounding this central cipher are various stamped characters and countersigns applied by individual mint officials, each representing an authenticating mark corresponding to a specific assayer or official. The characters '保', '仲', and '東' appear among the stamped inscriptions. Multiple kakihan (monogram seals) of supervising officials are distributed across the oval field, consistent with the rigorous authentication practice of the Tokugawa-era Kinza gold mint. The overall surface retains the characteristic granular texture of hand-prepared Edo-period gold flan. |
