| Описание аверса | Flat oval gold flan with a finely ridged (horizontal line) background covering the entire field. At the upper center, a fan-shaped (ginkgo-leaf) stamp bears the character '壹' (one) in grass script. Below it, a large rectangular cartouche stamped in the center of the field contains the two characters '壹両' (one ryō) in flowing grass script, the hallmark of the Goto assay house. Below the central cartouche, an elongated oval stamp bears the character '光' (Mitsu, part of the assayer's name Goto Mitsutsugu). At the lower center, a second fan-shaped stamp bears the character '次' (tsugi, completing the name Mitsutsugu), all stamps applied by hand in the traditional koban style. |

| Описание реверса | Plain ridged oval field with horizontal line texture across the entire surface, mirroring the obverse treatment. At the upper center, a faint raised rectangular impression is visible, the result of the obverse cartouche stamp pressing through the flan. A prominent circular seal stamp is applied at center, bearing the cursive monogram of the Goto assay house in grass script. Below and to the lower right, a smaller circular hallmark stamp bearing the Goto family authentication seal is impressed into the field, confirming the purity and weight of the piece. The reverse is characteristically plainer than the obverse, with stampings serving as quality and assay guarantees. |
