| Beschrijving voorzijde | Oval hammered gold flan with a granular, textured surface. At the top, a circular stamp bearing the umebachi (plum blossom roundel), the heraldic device of the Maeda clan of Kaga Domain. Centrally placed are two rectangular punch stamps arranged vertically, bearing the denominational inscription in Chinese characters reading 壹两 (One Ryō). Below the inscription stamps appears a kaō (cursive personal seal) authentication stamp, attesting to the coin's official issue. |
