| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays a long sceptre surmounted by a crown, set vertically and dividing the field. The denomination numeral 'XXX' appears to the right of the sceptre shaft, with the date divided on either side of the central device. A hand pointing left (manus Dei) appears at the sinister side. A thistle crowned countermark of 1578, applied as a punch, is visible in the lower left field, authenticating the coin's continued legal-tender status following the revaluation edict. The reverse legend runs continuously within a beaded border, punctuated by pellet stops. |
