Beschrijving voorzijde	Plain unadorned note issued as a redemption coupon (coupon penukaran), with typeset text arranged in a simple letterpress layout on off-white paper. The central vignette area carries the denomination in large bold type reading 'R. 1.- SATU RUPIAH R. 1.-', flanked by serial number fields at the upper corners. Below, two signature lines identify the signatories as the Deputy Chairman of the D.P.R. and the Resident of the N.R.I. Djambi.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse carries a plain typeset text block in Indonesian, without decorative elements, stating the coupon's validity as a temporary exchange instrument within the Djambi region and its guaranteed redemption against Orips currency at the Kas Negara Djambi. The date of issue, '17 September 1947', is centered in the lower portion of the note.
