| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Vittorio Emanuele III, depicted with a short beard and closely cropped hair, in high sculptural relief after the style of engraver Luigi Giorgi, whose signature L. GIORGI appears at the truncation of the neck. The surrounding legend reads VITTORIO·EMANVELE·III·RE·D'ITALIA, running along the inner border of the beaded rim. The field is polished and the portrait occupies nearly the full diameter of the flan. |
