Obverse description Hammered silver flan bearing the Mughal-style royal legend in Arabic script across the field, divided by a horizontal line into two registers. The upper register carries the opening portion of the imperial title, while the lower register displays the continuation of the legend reading 'sikka sahebe-qiran hamu din ilah Muhammad Akbar Badshah', invoking the Mughal emperor's authority. The design follows the standard Mughal rupee format adopted by the Orchha princely mint, with bold, slightly irregular lettering characteristic of provincial hammered coinage. The coin is not specifically catalogued as a standard variety in the Krause reference.
