Obverse description Left-facing effigy of King Tribhuvana Bir Bikram set within a large five-pointed star occupying the central field. Devanagari characters are positioned at each of the four cardinal points flanking the star, serving as a royal honorific legend. The coin's border features an unequal denticle pattern, with larger denticles alternating irregularly around the rim.

Reverse description Central device depicts a stylised rising sun above a range of mountains, enclosed within a wreath of two grain stalks tied at the base. The Vikrama Samvat date २०११ (2011 VS) appears in Devanagari numerals beneath the central device, flanked by the wreath.
