| Reverse description | The reverse field is dominated by a two-line Farsi couplet in Naskh/Nasta'liq script, enclosed within a dotted inner circle, with the regnal year (julus) inscribed at the top of the design. The legend identifies the mint as Dar al-Sultanat Herat and commemorates the auspicious accession of the ruler. The dotted border frames the inscription, while the surrounding field shows the characteristic rough surface of hammered Durrani-period coinage. The script is deeply incuse-struck and may partially overlap the coin's irregular periphery. |
