| 正面描述 | Hammered silver flan of irregular round form bearing a multi-line Persian legend arranged to be read from bottom to top, occupying the entire field. The central inscription names Taimur Shah in his capacity as Nizam (Viceroy), invoking divine and prophetic authority with the formula 'By the decree of God and the Messenger, Taimur Shah as Nizam found the coin.' The regnal year 1170 AH (1757 CE) appears within the legend. The script is executed in a bold Nastaliq hand typical of Durrani-period coinage, with flowing strokes and characteristic dot clusters visible throughout the field. The flan edges are ragged and uneven, consistent with hand-struck provincial rupee production of the period. |
