正面描述 The field is occupied entirely by Persian-script legends arranged in horizontal registers separated by raised lines, following the classic Mughal rupee format. The central area bears the 'saya-e-fazle elah' couplet invoking the divine shadow of God's grace, struck in the name of the Mughal emperor Shah Alam II. The Hijri regnal year 1175 AH appears in the field alongside the imperial titulature. Pellet ornaments are scattered throughout the field as decorative devices, characteristic of this issue. The legends are rendered in a bold Naskh-style calligraphy typical of late Mughal provincial coinage.

背面描述 The reverse is fully covered with Persian-script legends arranged in horizontal registers divided by raised lines, consistent with the Mughal rupee tradition. The mint name 'Mahe Indrapur' is prominently inscribed, identifying this as a Bharatpur state issue struck under Suraj Mal. The regnal year (RY) appears in the field alongside the Hijri date, with multiple combinations of AH dates and regnal years known for this type spanning RY#3 through RY#9. Pellet decorative devices punctuate the field, and the flan edges show the characteristic irregular form of a hand-struck hammered coin.
