| Reverse description | Central heraldic composition depicting the arms of the Holkar dynasty of Indore: two rearing horses as supporters flanking a central escutcheon, above which two crossed weapons (swords or spears) are displayed surmounted by a royal parasol with tassels. A radiant sun with a human face occupies the center of the field between the supporters. Foliage and rocky ground fill the base of the composition. A scrolled ribbon banner below bears a Devanagari devotional legend, with the word INDORE inscribed in Latin script beneath in the lower exergue. The whole is encircled by a dentilated border. |
