| 正面描述 | The obverse field is entirely occupied by the Gobindshahi couplet, the sacred Sikh invocation in Persian script rendered in two lines of bold Nastaliq calligraphy, separated by a horizontal line dividing the flan. Decorative pellet ornaments are scattered throughout the field, a characteristic feature of Sikh rupees of this period. The legend fills the coin to its raised rim, with no additional border or inner circle visible. The calligraphic style is typical of the Lahore mint tradition under the Sikh Empire. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse displays the Nanakshahi leaf symbol accompanied by scattered decorative pellets throughout the field, divided horizontally by a raised line in the Sikh coinage tradition. The frozen Vikram Samvat regnal date VS 1885 (corresponding to 1828–1829 CE) appears in Persian numerals within the lower half of the field. The inscription and decorative elements are executed in Nastaliq script, consistent with Sikh Imperial coinage of the Lahore mint. As was customary for this series, the date was frozen and does not reflect the actual year of striking. |
