| Reverse description | The reverse displays the Kalima Tayyiba (Islamic declaration of faith) arranged within a square cartouche subdivided by ruled lines, rendered in bold Nasta'liq script. The uppermost register contains the first part of the Shahada, 'La ilaha illa Allah', while the middle register bears 'Muhammadun Rasul Allah'. The names of the Four Rightly Guided Caliphs (Khulafa al-Rashidun) appear in the margins of the square frame. The Hijri date 1067 AH is inscribed in the lower portion of the cartouche or outer legend, and pellet ornaments decorate the corners and borders of the central square. |
