Reverse description The reverse carries the regnal formula 'Sana Julus Zarb' ('Struck in the year of accession') in Nastaliq script, with the hijri date and regnal year of Shah Alam II indicated on the die. The legend is arranged in two or three lines across the field, enclosed within a dotted border consistent with Sawai Madhopur mint practice. The mint name Sawai Madhopur appears as part of the reverse inscription. The hand-hammered flan produces a characteristically irregular and slightly uneven strike, with bold raised lettering against a flat field.
