| Obverse description | Hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend disposed across the field, divided by a horizontal line into two registers. The upper register contains the opening lines of the royal title, while the lower register carries the continuation of the imperial epithet. The script is rendered in a bold, cursive Nasta'liq style typical of late Mughal-derived coinage, with pellet ornaments and floral stops punctuating the field. The irregular flan edge, characteristic of hand-struck issues, frames the deeply impressed die work. |
