Obverse description Anonymous issue struck in the name of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II, featuring Persian script legend arranged across the field within two horizontal linear borders. The central inscription occupies the primary field in bold Naskh calligraphy, with additional script elements visible above the upper border. Weight varies between 10.70 and 11.60 grams across the series. This Ankusi Rupee type was produced under East India Company administration and was formerly catalogued as KM#213.
