Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Nasta'liq Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal bands across the field, recording the mint epithet 'Dar-us-Sultanat' (Seat of the Sultanate) for the Lahore mint, together with the regnal year (sanah) of Shah Alam Bahadur. A small decorative rosette or star ornament is present in the field. The legends are struck with the characteristic bold, flowing style of Lahore Mughal issues, framed by a plain linear border.
