The central legend records the phrase 'Manus Maymanat' (intimate with auspiciousness), a formulaic epithet standard to Shah Alam Bahadur's coinage. The regnal year (Sana) 3, corresponding to the third year of accession (Julus), is inscribed in the field. The mint name 'Khujista Bunyad' (of auspicious foundation), identifying the mint city of Hyderabad Deccan, appears in the lower register. The overall design follows the strict Mughal epigraphic convention with no figurative imagery. |
