Reverse description Central field displaying the Persian legend recording the regnal year ('Sana Ahad Jaloos') in Nasta'liq script within a double-line cartouche, indicating the first regnal year of the emperor's accession. The lower margin bears the mint name 'Akbarnagar' (present-day Rajshahi), identifying the place of issue. The bold, flowing script and cartouche format are consistent with standard Mughal hammered silver rupee reverse design of the early 18th century. Small floral or star-shaped ornamental devices appear in the field as decorative fillers.
