| Obverse description | Central field bearing the royal Persian legend 'Shah Alam Badshah Sikka Mubarak' in bold Nasta'liq script arranged within a cartouche framed by a double-line border. The Hijri regnal year 1119 AH appears in the lower margin below the central panel, rendered in large numeral characters. Floral ornamental motifs punctuate the field, characteristic of Mughal hammered coinage.
