Reverse description Three horizontal bands of Persian calligraphic inscription in Nastaliq script cover the reverse field. The central band carries the mint epithet 'Mustaqir-ul-Khilafat' (Abode of the Caliphate), the honorific title of the Akbarabad (Agra) mint. Additional lines record further elements of the mint and regnal formula in keeping with standard Mughal rupee typology. The lettering is boldly engraved and typical of early eighteenth-century Mughal hammered silver coinage.
