Reverse description The reverse displays a prominent Arabic numeral inscription recording the Hijri date 1199 (corresponding to 1785 CE), arranged in multiple registers within a rectangular central cartouche bordered by linear rules. Additional Persian legends surround the date, consistent with Mughal-style rupee typology as adapted by the Rajput princely states. Dot ornaments and foliate devices appear in the margins and field, framing the inscription. The flat, hammered flan exhibits characteristic irregular edges and die-struck relief typical of hand-struck Pratapgarh coinage of the late 18th century.
