| Obverse description | Central field bears a bold Persian/Nagari inscription in multiple registers, denoting the regnal year 29 of the issuing ruler, rendered in a flowing Naskh-influenced script typical of Rajput princely coinage. The legend is surrounded by decorative floral or foliate devices and dot ornaments in the margins. The overall design follows the Mughal-derived rupee format, with the inscription occupying the principal field within a rectangular cartouche framed by linear borders. Scattered pellet devices punctuate the field, characteristic of Pratapgarh mint production under Sawant Singh. |
