附加信息

Bahawalpur's silver rupee coinage was struck under treaty arrangements that permitted the princely state to maintain its own mint — a privilege that became increasingly rare as the British Raj tightened monetary integration across the subcontinent. Sadiq Muhammad Khan V ruled the state from 1907 until Partition in 1947, and issues from the mid-1920s represent the mature phase of his reign, before the administrative pressures of the late colonial period began to erode the autonomy of smaller princely mints.

KM#14 is among the more obtainable of the Bahawalpur rupee types, though surviving examples in better grades are understated in the market relative to their actual scarcity.
