Reverse description The reverse bears multi-line Nasta'liq Arabic calligraphic inscriptions arranged across three horizontal registers separated by raised linear bands, consistent with standard late Mughal rupee reverse typology. The legend records the mint name Lahore (لاهور) and the regnal year, along with the Hijri date, all deeply struck into the silver flan. The field exhibits natural toning and minor surface granularity characteristic of hammered Mughal silver coinage. A raised circular rim frames the inscriptions, and the coin shows slight off-centre striking typical of hand-struck issues of this period.
