Fantasy issues attributed to Jammu and Kashmir circulate among novelty collectors but carry no official standing — the princely state ceased to exist as an administrative entity in 1952, and no successor authority has issued coinage. "North America" as a regional qualifier on a Kashmiri rupee denomination has no historical or monetary basis whatsoever.
