| Popis líce |
Central field entirely occupied by a multi-line Bengali inscription in raised relief, reading the royal legend of Nara Narayan with the Shaka date 1477. The lettering is rendered in a bold, archaic Bengali script characteristic of sixteenth-century Koch coinage. A border of raised beads encircles the inscription, forming a dotted inner rim typical of hammered rupees of the region. The irregular flan shows natural die-struck surface variations consistent with hand-hammered manufacture. |

| Popis rubu |
The reverse displays a multi-line devotional inscription in raised Bengali script filling the entire field, invoking Sri Sri Shiva and referencing the lotus feet of Shiva in a formula characteristic of Koch dynasty coinage. The letters are boldly struck in an archaic Bengali hand, arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. A continuous beaded border frames the inscription, consistent with the obverse treatment. Minor weakness and flan irregularities are present as expected on hammered issues of this period. |
