| Reverse description | Hammered silver flan displaying a central circular cartouche containing the mint and date formula in nasta'liq calligraphy. Within the cartouche, the inscription reads 'Zarb Dar al-Saltana Tabriz' (struck at the Seat of Sovereignty, Tabriz), with the AH regnal year 1159 prominently placed in the lower portion of the cartouche. Small dotted rosettes flank the cartouche as decorative elements. The outer field is largely plain, with the flan edges showing characteristic irregular hammered striking. |
