Obverse lettering VICTORIA QUEEN الدوله منصر ١٣٠٧ سنه
(Translation: Victoria Queen Munsir Al Dawla (State`s Defender) Year 1307)
Reverse description Central field displays the denomination 'ONE RUPEE' in two lines within an ornate wreath of laurel and palm branches, tied at the base. The circular legend 'EAST INDIA COMPANY' arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 1840 prominently placed in the exergue below the wreath. A small Qu'aiti countermark is also visible on the reverse field, consistent with the authentication applied to both sides of the host coin. The overall design reflects the classic mid-19th century East India Company milled coinage style.
