| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, wearing a small crown and veil, occupying the central and lower field. The legend VICTORIA QUEEN curves around the upper periphery in Latin characters. A circular Qu'aiti countermark approximately 10 mm in diameter is applied over the queen's portrait, bearing a three-line Arabic inscription within a plain incuse circle, recording the issuing authority and the AH date 1307. |
