正面铭文 لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله
背面描述 The reverse bears a short half couplet in Arabic script, rendered in large, bold characters that fill the field in a characteristic Afghan hammered-coin style. The inscription is arranged within a similar compartmentalized grid layout as the obverse, with decorative dot groupings filling the interstices between the letter strokes. A marginal border legend in Arabic script encircles the central inscription. The overall presentation reflects the calligraphic traditions of early nineteenth-century Afghan coinage.

附加信息

Muhammad Zaman Shah's first reign lasted only a matter of months in 1801 before he was deposed, blinded, and imprisoned by his half-brother Mahmud Shah — yet coins bearing his authority were struck. This 1841 issue, however, belongs to a separate, later reinstatement attempt, placing it squarely within the violently contested Barakzai-Sadozai succession struggles that defined Afghan coinage as an almost cataloguing nightmare of brief claimants and overlapping issues.

The Kabul mint output from this period is notoriously inconsistent in execution, with flan preparation varying considerably across dies of the same type.
