Reverse description Central field inscribed with the mint and regnal year formula in Arabic Naskh script, reading 'sana julus zarb' (struck in the year of accession), with the Hijri date and regnal year (sana) occupying the lower portion of the flan. The mint name Shahabad Qanauj appears within the inscription, divided by a characteristic Mughal cartouche band across the center. The reverse is bordered by a dotted rim, consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Mughal imperial mints.
