Obverse description Central field bearing the imperial Arabic legend 'sikka mubarak badshah ghazi' (Blessed coin of the King, Warrior of the Faith) in bold Naskh script, arranged in two lines separated by a horizontal cartouche. The inscription is surrounded by a decorative dotted border typical of Mughal hammered rupees of the period. The lettering is deeply struck and occupies nearly the entire flan, consistent with the calligraphic style of Muhammad Shah's coinage.
