| Reverse description | Hammered reverse displaying the accession formula in Nasta'liq script across two principal registers divided by a scored horizontal line. The upper register bears the auspicious julus legend, the central field prominently names the Munbai (Mumbai) mint as 'Zarb Munbai', and the regnal year 1138 AH together with the regal year numeral 8 appears in the lower portion. Decorative pellet clusters are scattered across the field, consistent with Mughal mint practice at the Bombay issue. |
