Reverse description Hammered silver reverse displaying a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in three horizontal registers across the field. The legend proclaims the ruler's honorific title as Sultan of the Two Lands and Khaqan of the Two Seas, followed by the Hijri regnal year 1163. The calligraphy is executed in a bold, angular style consistent with other Maldivian hammered rupees of the mid-eighteenth century. The flan edges are slightly irregular, reflecting hand-striking production methods at the Malé Mint. No decorative borders or subsidiary devices are present.
