| Reverse description | Central field bears the mint and regnal year formula in flowing Naskh script, reading 'Zarb sana julus' (struck in the year of accession), with the AH date and regnal year (RY) indicated alongside. A trishul (trident) symbol, a Hindu sacred emblem incorporated as a mint or privy mark, appears in the field as a distinguishing feature of this Daulatgarh issue. The coin exhibits the irregular flan shape and uneven strike characteristic of hammered silver rupees produced at provincial Princely State workshops during the early nineteenth century. |
