| Obverse description | Hammered silver field divided by a horizontal line, with Persian or Dogri script legend occupying both registers. The upper register bears the ruler's name or title in bold calligraphic strokes, while the lower register contains additional inscription elements. Small pellets are scattered in the field as decorative or separating devices. The flan is irregular in shape, typical of hand-struck princely state coinage of the mid-nineteenth century. |
